If anyone wondered what dinnertime is like in the Slats household, here's a fun scenario. Daddy is driving home later than expected, mom is hungry, but can't really cook when Brody cuts his afternoon nap short and is following her around the house wailing. So, she gets dinner ready for the boys. Brennan is happy with nuggies and some fruit all while thinking he's "Mr. Hollywood", BUT he needs for me to tell him which piece to eat. Sometimes it is hard to hear him ask in between yells from the 'lil guy, but we manage. "Oh, eat the piece that's farthest to the left, yah, that one". And Brody, well he just likes to eat what I'm having. So, if I am not having anything, this is what happens. Oh, and the fact that he's really tired and keeps rubbing his eyes with messy hands does not help matters. You get the idea... :-)
